THE LANDSCAPE OF FRANCE IS BREATHTAKING
It's a rough place with sand, wind, sea, sun and beautiful skies. Just as the sea ebbs and flows, is the history of this place. The channel between the North of France and the South of England was in fact a boundary between two worlds during the first and second world war.
In the landscape you can see concrete structure buildings, that had to give protection. Today the sea is a boundary for migrants who want to go to England to live a better life. The grasp of nature is a contrast to the limit that the channel is, essentially. With this project I show the contradiction between the beauty of the place and the story the landscape has to carry. It is changed by nature, the climate and the adjustments human do. The materials in this project are from the north France landscape in order to tell the story of this area.
